While this site can help with that in a broad way it is still important that you read and understand your policy. Most people never bother and many have trouble understanding all the legalese but it is something you are going to have to do.
The internet can be a great resource for finding a good deal on insurance but you have to know what you are doing, or online car insurance could even end up costing you more. There are hundreds of sites that will allow you to compare rates from the different insurers but you still need to be aware of what you are comparing. There are a lot of variables that go into determining insurance premiums and you need to be sure that you comparing similar policies. There is no value to comparing two policies that offer completely different coverage, unless of course you want to compare the cost of different types of coverage.
There is a lot of information on the internet about insurance, some of it good most of it bad, all of it to sell you a policy or get you to get free internet insurance quotes. It is important to keep in mind when you are using the internet to research insurance that you understand that virtually all of the information is there in the hopes of getting you to buy insurance. This isn't necessarily bad, the information can still be quite useful but it is something that you need to be aware of. This will help prevent you from buying an insurance policy that is wrong for you.
